Karina Rosamond, better known as just Karina, is a young Country Music singer from Frederick who will be the headline performer at a show and dance at the AMVETS Post #9 in Middletown Maryland on February 9th. Also performing with Karina will be Tony Dalton, a Country Music singer from Annapolis.

Karina has been performing since the age of 9. She has opened shows for acts like Linda Davis, Mila Mason and Mark Nessler; recorded and performed in Nashville on several occasions, and dozens of personal appearances in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, including shows at both the Maryland and Virginia State Fairs.

In 1997 Karina became a regular on the CSA Jamboree, a long-time running live radio show produced in Clarksville, MD.

In 1999 Karina was selected as one of the top-ten acts to appear at a talent showcase sponsored by the International Fan Club Organization of Nashville. She also competed and won the local competition at the Jimmy Dean/True Value Country Showdown competition and was the highest rated act from Maryland at the District Finals in Hershey Park, PA.

In 1999 Karina sang the National Anthem at the Baltimore Orioles baseball season opener at Camden-Yards in Baltimore, MD.

Directions: Go west through Frederick in Interstate 70. Take the Alt. 40 exit toward Middletown. Go approximately 8 miles to the center of Middletown.
Turn right on Hwy. 17 at the Subway. Go one block to West Green Street and Turn Left. Go to the end of the street.
The AMVETS Hall is on the right side of the street at 409 West Green Street.
